Our local walks

This time during lockdown in the UK sees us have permission to go out for one form of exercise per day.

Where I live (currently in lockdown with my children) we are very fortunate to have some beautiful countryside.  Some of it, I confess, I haven't seen before! Even some of the houses we have passed on our walks are places I haven't noticed before!  It's amazing how so much opens up your eyes to new beauties.

This whole thing seems to be 'getting you' like that doesn't it.  One day up, another day down, all the while hoping that you can white knuckle ride it out.

Meeting Tyler Oakley and Stephen H Vlog

Good morning everyone!



How's life treating you all?  How was your halloween?  Gosh, I feel like there is so much to catch up on between you and I.  Honestly,  things have been manic here as always and as you know by now, checking in with my blog is just the best - I love it.  My place of retreat and love. <3



My theory about firework night is this: in Kent, we seem to get a turn in the weather right after the 5th of November and typically when we see our first frost.  I'm hoping it holds out for a few more days.  I've yet another exciting weekend coming up and you don't want to miss this one! Meanwhile, I am procrastinating - I really must get back to some Uni work! I'm getting behind on projects which is super crazy.  So early in the year too! This is going to be quite a ride.

One more week of Camp NanoWriMo

Who's writing?

Are you doing Camp NanoWriMo?  Well, I am and loving it.  My story is taking twists and turns that I definitely didn't expect to happen! The romance is just about to begin to bloom between the two main characters Liv and Thomas. I can't wait to see what starts to happen!

Previously, I never quite understood novelists who explained how the story was just happening as if it was out of their control.  Yet something seems to happen when you get in the flow and it's like the story takes on a mind of its own!

Today I shall be writing more and I will smash my word count that I set for NaNoWriMo of 10,000.  The story needs to be much longer but knowing I have at least hit those 10,000 words takes the pressure off.

My main surprise has been how I have found a lack of motivation!!! Gosh, what's that all about?  I used to sit in judgement with authors who complained about this issue.  I was always dreaming of the chance to sit at my desk and write, write, write.  Although I have now found ways that work for me, doing the one thing I dreamed of could get a little monotonous.  Instead I move around a lot with the laptop,  write with a pen sometimes in my ideas book,  interact with other members of Camp NanoWrimo.

I'm not sure when the book is likely to get released.  I have realised the best thing to do is get the story down.  Edit later.  Lots of spelling, typing, grammatical errors that need sorting.  During camp, it is the writing of the first draught which counts.  Editing can come along later.  I'm very excited to finish my word count today and see how many more words flow.

The solar eclipse

As it begins to darken in the Uk, I am noticing everyone still dashing. We all are guilty of continuing our day. 

All the while, nature performing miracles. 

Never disastrous. Always on point. Always doing what needs doing. Except today is different. Yes, we are all carrying on despite the darkness. 

Yet there is a magic in the air. 

Something special is happening. Every day a miracle. 

We allow everything "up there" to continue to take care of us everyday. 

Never do we question that the sun will rise only to set a few hours later.

Honestly, totally, the best Pro beauty I have ever seen! 

What was different?  I'm really not sure but there was a feeling, a buzz, an excitement!

Aside from the glamour, the gorgeous people, the amazing sets created by big names in the industry, there seemed to be some magic in the atmosphere.

Greeted by the press department, we were welcomed with champagne and chatted to some amazing strangers who were soon to become friends.  Also there to soak up the brands!

Windy weather

Hello!!!!

So hows the quest for a Lusher Life going in your part of the world?

Things in my life are going tickety boo!  More and more clients are signing up for the Coaching with me which is great timing.  I'm on the UP!  Using the Law of Attraction, my old friend to help and guide me along the way.

Things  are tough at times and that's just as it should be,  without it,  life is flat.  So I am pretty good at getting through a bad situation. I'm pretty sure my coaching clients see that as a strength in me.

Last weekend really helped.  As you all know I'm a big fan of walking in nature and I took the family (they took me?) to the windy shores of the Kent Coast,  UK.

Man it was FREEEZINGGGG and blew away the cobwebs as my mum would say.
