Why you shouldn't "just" breathe!

Motivational Monday – don’t take ANYTHING for granted

The current situation sees us hoping we don’t catch the virus and struggle to breathe. Our lungs breathe automatically for us day after day, thousands of times. The muscles work, we exchange CO2 for O2 without giving it a thought.  We take breathing for granted.

Just like many other things in life, we assume it will always be okay. Try to pay better attention to everything. Even including breathing. Try to take a moment to listen to your breaths and feel them, deep within your body.  See how amazing it feels.

This video was inspired by Oprah when she spoke about growing up and being poor, but she knew somehow there was something better. I believed there was nothing better. Until I discovered there was. To go through the journey of the negative thinking pattern allowed me to become who I am and tell those stories to inspire others.

Let me tell you, there is always something better, always room to improve areas of your life. What is it you want to go for?
Try writing it down, see what flows.

In the same way you have taken breathing for granted, start to pay attention to other things and see what happens when you notice the good in certain things.

Two very different black clouds

Today, I felt two very different types of black cloud approaching.

It's no secret that here in the UK we had a very adverse weather forecast.

Rather like my mood.  I Started out feeling great, buzzing for my Human Nutrition year 2 degree exam.  Guessing that every 'up' also brings a 'down',  I got home and took to my bed.

Crohns disease has reared its uninvited head the past two days.  This has left me exhausted,  running on my ever-pressured adrenal glands (bless those little walnuts).

Waking, I felt strange; rested.

Harley and I had snuggled in tightly and got warm.  Him wearing his hoody with the words 'cute' written on it! Yes, I know, I should have waited to give him a hair cut.
Feeling my unwelcome guest, anxiety approaching, I could feel myself wanting to distance myself from my nearest and dearest, everyone and the world.  Just about everyone.

Sitting with a calculator and pen, I did the usual calculations.  Aiming to out-wit the anxiety with my mathematical calculations, I managed to inspire myself enough to realise that with a couple of years of consistent blogging and creating youtube videos I can actually live the dream I have in working full time from home.
No way?  Yes!

Thus relieving the pressure to get up each day healthier than the previous day.  Much as I love to believe I have this illness under control, there are those days when it somehow is smarter than me.

Feeling in-spirit (inspired) I took to the keyboard and lit the candle. With only my tinitus, ticking clock, snoring dog and fired up boiler for sounds, I begin to write.  My passion, my love.

I want to write, write, WRITE.

This black cloud approaches,  this brings the beauty of snowflakes.

Without a sound, we see them falling,  covering the roads and pathways in an instant.  Such beauty.  As the social media channels begin to fill with children out playing late into bedtime and snowmen being built around these towns, I began to dream of a snow day tomorrow.

Would we get a snow day?

Don't get me wrong, I have two amazing clients booked to see in the morning, right before my gastroenterology appointment at the hospital, yet I have fire in my belly to write write WRITE.

Are you with me on this journey?

As always, much love

Louise xoxo

When you know you need a kick up the butt!

Football. England playing. A lack of Eastenders took jasmine and I to a different kind of TV time.
Each night, we light candles, grab a drink and watch tv for 30 minutes.

"Want to watch YouTube instead?" Jas asked.
"Cool, yup" was my casual reply. "Something motivational" I continued.  We found this video.

Wow did that kick me in the butt.

Ok so it's not that I'm making excuses. Although if this is an excuse, perhaps I am. I'm not feeling great, lots of pain. I'm trying to sort the house and getting lots of help in for home improvements (lots more to come on this) so things online have suffered.

How many times have I told you guys I will make this blogging gig my full time living? Not without the effort I won't. So I need to work harder, smarter.

Yesterday, this happened...

Undefeated, I took delivery of my wheelchair. I can walk. Just not very far. Which means that, life needs to change.

We all have gifts to offer the world. Or even a passion. People want what you have to give.

Every comment I get with love and positivity to a video or blog post I've written or even to one of my books fills me with JOY. Those are those air punching moments of "Yes! I can do this!"

Yet, this is all up to us. What do you dream of?  What do you want to do?
Is blogging one of those dreams?
I can help you if it's technical help you need or want. And this amazing lady Tabitha has helped me massively. Click on her name to learn more.

Meanwhile, I finish this coffee, work on some SEO for this blog post, work a little smarter in order to make life work for me.

So many exciting things are happening this year. I love to share them on this little piece of Internet real estate that's captured my heart. I call it my blog.

<3

Much love

Louise xoxo

You wanted to make life changes - remember?

It's been a crazy amount of time now since I began to learn the Law of Attraction.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B009STQ7BU/ref=rdr_kindle_ext_tmb

Being the inspiration to begin this blog, I have so much to thank 'it' for.

However, I need to make a video all about the 'problem' with the law of attraction.  When things go wrong and why.  What you can do when things don't pan out as you had hoped.

Having recently got way too complacent with the Law of Attraction, I now have had a few proverbial 'kicks up the bum' to remind me of the practices I should be making! It's definitely time I started to practice what I preach once again and I have revisited many old favourites of mine.
Videos.
books.
Meditations...
The list goes on.  If you haven't read my book yet, I suggest you get your hands on a copy.  You see, I have recently started promoting the book again and it's flying off the shelves like a new release! Honestly, for £0.99 you can begin to get the knowledge you need to start changing your life.

If you want to regain health
Get a better body
Find the love of your life
Change jobs
Make more money
Have more energy
You have good news ahead...there is a way you can start to make changes in the way you think and act and make huge differences to living the life of your dreams.

I know you are crying out to know more from me and the best way is to head over to amazon and download a copy of my book.  It doesn't matter if you don't have a kindle as it can be sent to your tablet, laptop or phone.  It will be the best £0.99 you have spent in ages.  The book is small, just 33 pages so can be read in a couple of hours.  So many of my audience have asked if I am releasing a second book.  I will.  I guess.  Yet right now I have 3 books I am writing plus a short story for publication and I must get those in print first!  Yet follow this blog and you will get nuggets from me each week!

So click this link and goto Amazon to get your own copy.  You can get it in print too if you prefer something you can make highlights,  notes and dog ears with! You are likely to come back to the print edition again and again.

Meanwhile, I wish you the very best in life for this wonderful day and send you much love

Why the scales could hinder your weight loss

Why the scales could hinder your weight loss success

IMG_3169

You've heard this one before haven't you.  'They' tell us not to weight too often.  I sit on the fence a little.  Here's my reasons for and against.  Which one works for you?

Reasons not to weigh:

When you are dieting,  you are on a white knuckle ride gripping on for dear life.  When you weigh constantly you give off an air of desperation and need which is a negative feeling.  If you know me and my writing,  you will know I'm a firm beleiver in the Law of Attraction.  What you give out is what you get back.

You need to remain calm,  focused and positive.

Did you ever think you were doing great on your new crash diet and get on the scales to be dissapointed?  What if you even gained a little weight!? Oh my goodness I bet it ruined your day?!
Were you walking around miserable and upset for the rest of the day?  Simply because half a pound was gained at the scales.  Even worse than that is when I have weighed clients who have been dissapointed with a loss.
"Only a pound?" They exclaim.

Your weight will naturally go up and down throughout every day. So expect ups and downs.  This is NORMAL.

Also,  getting on the scales will encourage that crash diet mentality rather than thinking log term and a new way of life.

Reasons to weigh:

Many people love to use the scales as the way to track and measure what is going on with their body.  It is a great way to punch the air and shout woo hoo 'it's working'.

Without the scales it isn't quite so easy to guess if it's working for you.

If you are on a plan which will show you how quickly you can lose weight say 5lbs in a week - you aspire to that,  expecting that success.  Belief is  a huge part of your success.  Without belief it will never happen.

On the next blog we will show you exactly what you should be doing instead of getting on the scales.

You having a tough day?

You know the kind of day where things just don't pan out as you'd hoped?

The computer is running too slow.

You ate something that didn't agree with you?

Your friend misunderstood something you said.

You dropped something important?

Get into the spiral of saying, "Nothing is going right today." or "It doesn't matter what I do today,  nothing is going right."
And guess what?  You will attract more going wrong for you.  So take a moment.  Breathe deeply once or twice and be thankful for 3 things.  Life will begin to get better right away!
