Do you believe in love?  I do!  I also believe there are many different types of love.

Whatever your type, belief, celebrating this February or not, I do hope your heart is a happy place you can sometimes go to and feel something lovely.

I have been broken and I have been lucky.  Right now my heart is full and it could burst.

Our amazing party and a massive surprise - we got engaged!

Friday night saw a celebration meal.  Hosted by me and Scott.  Here's the story:

After we hosted my Dads "celebration of his life" party (he would like it to be called that) I felt that as a family we created an amazing day but it was just such a sad event that Dad wasn't there to enjoy and therefore we all struggled too.  On that day, I felt in my wisdom that we needed to host another get together and enjoy some sort of party at the same venue.

Setting to work with pen in hand, I created some ideas.

Scott,  my ex-husband was the strength that got me through, the man who cried with me, held dads hand and sang (terribly) to the Beatles as Dad was taking his last breath.

Our relationship isn't your typical love story and we have realised that older on in life we both feel a little 'set in our ways'.  Which means living together does not work for us!  You've likely heard the old saying 'can't live together can't be apart' well yes that's us.

When Scott was taken poorly with Myocarditis not long after we buried Dad, I was totally distraught.  It can be a killer.  What would I do without Scott?  I felt empty inside.

Knowing the law of attraction and how it works, my best shot was to keep super positive and give Scott lots of hope and visions for the future.  We booked a dream holiday to Jamaica, not even knowing if he could fly.
I showed him more love than ever before and advised him on physical stuff like getting sleep, not stressing, cutting caffiene, eating healthily...only my close friend Stacey knew how I was trying to fix him.  Although she and I never spoke of this!

After a very traumatic day at the Royal Brompton hospital and Scott having a significant amount of tests, including a MRI with bells on, we stopped for dinner on the way home.  He seemed defeated.  This is a strong man who is in a powerful job.  There's nothing Scott can't do.  He was built with broad shoulders for that purpose.
Steak was juicy as my mouth decided to take on a life of its own and I suggested that we really can't be without each other and perhaps we should accept that we are together for life, as friends but ones who don't want to be with anyone else!

When we went back a few weeks later for the results we were astounded.  Without going into it too much the news was more than favourable and the surgeon was dumbfounded as he has never quite seen something like this before.
Knowing the law of attraction, I was having a quiet think to myself.  Was it the positivity that had helped? When I gave stacey the news she exclaimed,
"You fixed his broken heart!"
I thought the same, I told her.  So now I'm in a place of amazing gratitude and hope for the future, knowing that Scott and I can prop each other up as old people!

This has now moved on to us celebrating our engagement last Friday and organising a ceremony for Jamaica.  Wow and Wow.

Happy Father's Day?

As we approach Father's Day this Sunday, I'm filled with more questions than ever this year.

Many of us struggle with Mother's Day. Likely you've seen the various Facebook posts from friends who've lost their beloved mum and urge you to take pleasure in the time you have with your mum. Or even those who are estranged from their mum.

Yet generally it can seem a more straightforward day for many compared to Father's Day. It might be the child or indeed the dad who finds Father's Day tricky.

Many dads don't get to see their children as much as they would like.

Some don't seem bothered to even send their children a text message, then there are those dads who would climb over hot coals but are being prevented from spending that time.

For me, this Father's Day will be a sad time.
My first one without my dad. Taken too soon 4 months ago.
This week all of his songs have played on the radio; there have been tears.
Early Sunday morning I will visit the cemetery with mum and take white roses.

After that, I will pop back to my room and sort out my eyes and add lots of make up.  Then we will celebrate the twins father.  He's just awesome.  Always there for them, whatever the request.

We shall all enjoy a nice lunch and do our best not to focus on the empty chair.

I miss you Dad.  But  I know you are just fine where you are.

You wanted to make life changes - remember?

It's been a crazy amount of time now since I began to learn the Law of Attraction.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B009STQ7BU/ref=rdr_kindle_ext_tmb

Being the inspiration to begin this blog, I have so much to thank 'it' for.

However, I need to make a video all about the 'problem' with the law of attraction.  When things go wrong and why.  What you can do when things don't pan out as you had hoped.

Having recently got way too complacent with the Law of Attraction, I now have had a few proverbial 'kicks up the bum' to remind me of the practices I should be making! It's definitely time I started to practice what I preach once again and I have revisited many old favourites of mine.
Videos.
books.
Meditations...
The list goes on.  If you haven't read my book yet, I suggest you get your hands on a copy.  You see, I have recently started promoting the book again and it's flying off the shelves like a new release! Honestly, for £0.99 you can begin to get the knowledge you need to start changing your life.

If you want to regain health
Get a better body
Find the love of your life
Change jobs
Make more money
Have more energy
You have good news ahead...there is a way you can start to make changes in the way you think and act and make huge differences to living the life of your dreams.

I know you are crying out to know more from me and the best way is to head over to amazon and download a copy of my book.  It doesn't matter if you don't have a kindle as it can be sent to your tablet, laptop or phone.  It will be the best £0.99 you have spent in ages.  The book is small, just 33 pages so can be read in a couple of hours.  So many of my audience have asked if I am releasing a second book.  I will.  I guess.  Yet right now I have 3 books I am writing plus a short story for publication and I must get those in print first!  Yet follow this blog and you will get nuggets from me each week!

So click this link and goto Amazon to get your own copy.  You can get it in print too if you prefer something you can make highlights,  notes and dog ears with! You are likely to come back to the print edition again and again.

Meanwhile, I wish you the very best in life for this wonderful day and send you much love

Getting back to The Secret

It's been quite some time since I have touched on the Law of Attraction on this blog.

Which is where it all began.  Me.  Discovering the Law of Attraction.  Me realising that life was there to build on your dreams and to lead you to opportunities.

Someone very dear to me just sent me this article.

http://www.thesecret.tv/stories/how-my-writing-dream-came-true/

The Secret has a kind of blog which shares success stories.  Truly, truly inspirational.

Now I really think that my Youtube channel needs an update of a video from me talking to you about the Law of Attraction.  Let me tell you another Secret...

It's not all roses!!!

What?  No belief?  Well, yes, a massive belief and a knowing that something bigger than the human ego is out there in charge of it all.  This thing called life has to be a journey,  a learning experience. It's not all perfect.

I believe you go through stages once you have discovered the Law of Attraction.  I've been at the stage for some time where you begin to dip out of the first euphoric state of "I can do ANYTHING!" and begin to realise it's a process.
Sometimes,  you need to be lead down a path which may seem like a really bad idea at the time.  Yet after dealing with some negativity and 'tough love' you might realise that this is in fact leading you right into your dream.

Things begin to unfold for you as you realise that your language of positivity and love (not always appreciated by everyone) is rewarding you.  Too much negative talk and once again you begin to see conflict appearing in your life.  Yet there will always be people out there who can do nothing but negative talk and for them, we must wish them well as they need all the love directed at them as we can.  Evil will manifest itself in many ways, usually illness, heartbreak or just simply hate coming back at them.

So while it is important to keep on the path of least resistance and positivity, I do believe it's possible to go through waves while living a life of Law of Attraction.  Sometimes, while trying to live out your dream,  you will be guided in ways to get you to the end of your dream which you may not realise is taking you there.  This can be so tricky to swallow.  Have you experienced this?  Let me know if this resonates with you.

Meanwhile,  have a read of the link above.  A story of a writer.  Often,  this dream takes some time to come true as it's often a path we are on with a level of doubt about making a living at it.

I'm so fortunate to say this is now a dream realised for me as I begin to write for others now.

You may have seen my blog posts on NaNoWriMo.  Well, this novel is unfolding beautifully...I'm excited...talking of which, I must get back to it!

Wishing you much much love in your positive day.  Share some love.  Be amazing to people around you.  Compliment folks.  They will love you for it.

Louise xoxo

Share some love, be nice and manifest your dreams!

“Years ago it was all hard work, not like these days!” exclaimed the hospital patient.

With a raised eyebrow, trying to be understanding I replied, “You didn’t have all the washing machines and gadgets we have now did you?”  - You see where I was going here?

“Well, we had to take care of our home, look after our children, not like you youngsters.  We had to scrub our floors.  We didn’t have all these posh floorings like lino and that!”  Her bed neighbour agreed. As the neighbour told me how she was too young to join the army in the war, unlike the complaining/humourous patient I was trying to gauge how old these ladies might be, in order to make myself more understanding of them. My own mum was born just 6 days before the war which makes her now 75.  So if one of these ladies was in the war she surely had to be at least 90?  Aware that they did things much younger years ago, I failed to see how these ladies were so elderly.  They didn’t look it.  Perhaps ladies get to an age where they stop ageing.  Such sweethearts, all of them.

It’s important to me to enhance their experience.  Being here, smiling, chatting, allowing them to tell me how easy I’ve got it these days.  In reality, it grated a little as life has it challenges no matter who you are or where you are from.  Or when.

Turning back to the patient I was taking care of, I tried to inject some more light into the conversation.

“I wonder what life will be like in another 50 years when I’m laying here talking to a ‘youngster’ like me.  I wonder if I will be saying, ‘when I was your age we didn’t even have robots!’ “  To which the patients laughed and said yes well you never know.

The past 100 years have seen many manifestations come to fruition.  The Wright brothers with their ‘bonkers’ idea that men can fly.  Now of course we fly everyday, all over the world.  People told them they were crazy.
Internet.
Laptops
Even mobile phones.  I remember being without mobile phones.  My children ask me, “Mum what did you do if you were out shopping and went in different directions? How would you find each other?”
“Well we would have to arrange a meeting place and time, with a plan if we lost each other!”
The expression on the children's faces shouted out ‘How inconvenient!’

Sitting in a restaurant I was managing, talking to a rep a few years ago she enlightened me to the fact that one day soon our mobile phones would be computers. Everything would be done on a mobile phone.  “NO?” I questioned, Lee Evans style!  She was right.  So here we are in the hospital discussing the future of robots.

However, I’m not sure life is any easier for us now as it ever was as so many folks seem to love to replace one problem with another. For example, the lady who was talking about fighting the war (pretty big deal, you’ll agree) would now be replaced by a woman who decides to attack her team mates for doing things differently than her.  Not such a big deal on the face of things but if you are the one dealing with this from either side then you will find it’s a massive deal.  Leading to health issues, tummy upsets, tears, children seeing mummy crying, overflowing dishwashers and a whole heap of stress.  We deal with what we deal with in the way we deal with it.  Everyones issues are real and true to them at the time.  All of us would be very caring to remember that.  I do my utmost to put others first but occasionally it gets to the point of not being able to do that at the detriment of your own life.

Listening to sweet elderly ladies at the twilight of their life tell me how easy my life is is one thing.  After I had spent the morning cooking breakfast, making packed lunches, doing the school run, driving straight to a posh clients hotel room for her blow dry, back to the salon for a colour correction of a lady who attempted her own hair colour, onto biology revision, then 2 school runs at different times, off to the hospital to help patients nutrition for a few hours, home at 7.30, cook dinner, generate presentation slides on the traffic light labelling system, overcome some technical issues (as best I could) and more revision of Science and Biology before I fell asleep at 12.30.  Up at 4.45 for more revision (all not including any housework!) greeted by a very attacking email from a team member who was unhappy with my presentation slides.

Life is easy huh.

We all have our cross to bear.  We all could focus on the challenges.  However, no matter how much hard work this seems right now in this red hot minute, I will do my utmost to remain calm, present and in the flow.  Down stream.

The path of least resistance.

Thank you, Abraham Hicks for that thought.

Just like the Wright (Right?) brothers and their crazy scheme to get men to fly.  All the attacks they dealt with.  No doubt life was tricky and hard for them during their plight. Putting my attacks into perspective.

Why oh why won’t people be more lovely?

If we all made an effort today to smile, to love, to help, to be kind.  Wouldn't the world be a better place.  Who knows, maybe the sun would shine, perhaps wars would end.

Valentines day is tomorrow. Share some love

What the heck is going on?!

Ok, here I am again at last!

Apologies for being AWOL for so long.  I have great reasons which I really don't want to go into at great length here just now.  Although,  if you see my Bio has had a big change and now I'm a single girl.  A big shock to many including myself!
So, a slight change of jewellery and here's off to a great new base for a new novel.

Needless to say, life has been crazy chaotic.  Although I'm on the up in a big way.  Honestly,  I feel when people have a bit of a 'crisis' (you might call it) they either fix themselves by crying lots,  sleeping for ages and feeling really sad - getting lots of lovely cuddles from loved ones - or,  like me,  really grab life by the wotsits and decide to use it as a positive change.

Sounds perfect eh?

Well yes, of course it would sound perfect.  This is me,  Mrs positive,  Mrs Lusher Life.  Agreed,  I really do love to make my Lusher Life and when things are taking a downturn I do realise that it's all part of life.

It's a journey isn't it!

It's important to realise we are human.  So while I'm recovering,  my body is taking a little bit of a bashing as my stress can go inward.

Now, with the Law of Attraction in mind,  we create our reality with our thoughts.  I'm thinking that my life needs x, y, z right now and by agreeing to these things I feel better.

For instance,  (as i know that was hard to grasp)  To feel in control,  I need to realise the control is in my hands!

So what will I do with my new found freedom?  Well that's up to me but creating a Lusher Life is what I'm all about so everything I do must be moving forwards in that direction.

Realising this sad story had a sad ending has just given me the 100% clarity that I really need to write this as a story in a book which is of course my passion.  I love writing and more and more it is starting to become a reality that I can make it happen.
She says as she twins screens at the new desk which is located next to the radiator!

Meanwhile,  I'm off to write some blogs on my very exciting Salon Blog which you can find here.

I will,  I promise,  knuckle down to getting these 2 books finished that I keep luring you in with.  I'm ready for lots of hard work and getting this blog 'up there' is going to be awesome.

Much love to you all.....watching your news too

So many blogs to write, so many vlogs to edit

Morning all

News in the Usher household is plentiful right now!

There is so much going on.  I love life when it's like that!

Now it's mostly about this fella right now, my adorable Mo.

In 8 sleeps he will be getting on the plane to come here and join me for the start of a brand new life together.

You can imagine how exciting this time is.  I'm feeling a need to blog it all as it happens so you can get up to date and be with us on the journey as it happens!

As an author I'm keen to get on with more books,  Mo and I  have decided we have an amazing story and we should be sharing it with others to give them hope or to simply give them a nice story to read.

So I need a little schedule.  With my morning coffee I shall sit and blog more.  I could write until the cows come home! IT's part of what I do.... It's my passion.

I love this photo of us.  It was  a fun filled night of friends, vodka, music, laughter and dancing! We loved it.  Some of my close friends have told me they can feel the love in this photo!  How nice.

Meanwhile,  I've lots of photos I can share with you as I shop ebay and the local stores for wedding accessories etc....

Stay tuned!

Dreams *so* do come true

You lovely lovely people!!!

I'm feeling so at peace and feeling the love this week.  Settled.  Happy.  Content.

Lucky!

Many 'life' hippies like myself often think there is no such thing as luck but rather we make our own.  I'm very inclined to agree but I say:

"I'm so lucky!" So often.

I guess what I mean is I'm thankful.  Fortunate.  Grateful.

Life has been fantastic for me just lately and I'm feeling lucky!

Just wanted to check in and share this happy feeling along with a couple of happy photos!

Building this blog has really been giving me a sense of belonging and I'm enjoying myself so much! Please do me the honour of following me in whichever places suit you and click some likes or make some nice comments for me.

Encourage me! It's so lovely.  Now then folks, I've just signed up for bloglovin' so please follow me there too.

When I think back to life just a few short years ago.....I was struggling..... then I found the law of attraction,  positivity and gratitude.  Now,  the story is very different.  Have a look at life now!

Look what the flip I did!

Look how brave I am!!!!

I don't mean just the snake in the video... (video is at the bottom of this blog)

Now yes, the snake thing was pretty scary and totally took me out of my comfort zone!

Yet while I was in this place I have previously called paradise... (you've heard that one before) I also fell head over heels in LOVE

Love.......

Funny thing that,  love.  Now I've sat quietly on this for some time because...... well,   because I'm a professional person who takes her career seriously.

Now...

While my work has a few different slants,  Primarily I help salon businesses with the marketing and management of their salons.  This is no secret.

I also still do styling for  several A-listers!

Folks have been asking me for ages to teach my "secret" on how I managed to turn my life around from a gloomy place to the paradise it now is.

I was running some workshops..

Spreading the word of the Law of Attraction.  People wanted more and more of this from me.

Cut to today,  I'm still the same business woman but now I've opened up my life to show more and more of the personal side of me.  I've popped a video on Youtube which is the start of documenting how I found my ideal partner.  He and I have quite a story to share with you and we are going to be adding more and more to this channel so please go have a look, feel free to share and you must subscribe to make sure you don't miss any more of this story!

We are hoping that people will beleive more and more that dreams do come true and I'm sharing the love via the net and it's my dream to empower people enough to carry on making this stuff.  I need your support and hoping that with the support of amazon,  my books, the affiliate links and the like that we can keep on providing this stuff for free and continue to teach folks

"Don't stop believing"  (sing along now) because I know that dreams really do come true!
