Breaking fast for FREE

If you are a family with children, you might want to know this useful tip!

The Brewers Fayre local to us (next to the Premier Inn hotels) gives you food for FREE!

Yes, you heard me correctly, they actually give away food.  So what's the catch?  There isn't one.  However, this is the condition.

One adult pays in full for breakfast (£8.75) and up to 2 children eat free (under 16's).  So you can't do much better than that! If you are anything like me, you get a house full of teenagers each Saturday night and there is nothing better than taking them along for a full slap up breakfast on Sunday morning.  They love you forever.

Of course, it's great for a single mum with a couple of children too! We frequently go there and enjoy the food.  It's great food too.  Many choices of health fruit, yoghurt, porridge etc as well as the cooked breakfasts.  Plus a selection of teas and coffees!

Check all the information you need here

Let me know if you go and enjoy the lovely offers there!

Wishing you the best of health and much love

Louise xoxo

Valentines Day is fast approaching!

Happy valentines to you!

So what do you wish for this year on Valentines?  I've made a couple of videos for you to see.  This way if you are
single,
searching or
settled you can find something for all of you in there!

Updates galore this week! I am off to Pro-beauty soon (big shout out to Art Pronail UK who have some lovely gooddies for us and will be featuring on my Vlog of the day!) and will be taking Jasmine along with me as she is almost more of a make up expert than me these days!
Following that, It's off to London Fashion week with the Global Stars girls and just before all of this I will be live streaming on Youtube.  I've been inundated with questions and thought it would be easier to do a live stream on Youtube to get all the questions answered!
Let me know if you have a question you would like answered.

You will see my blog link ups on the lovely website of Sprinkle of Glitter! Exciting times.

I'm adding on some of my posts and videos here that you will find have been featuring this past 2 weeks on the internet! Hope you enjoy them!

Have a wonderful Valentines.

Much love

Our New Year walk

So often it's good to forget what you 'should' be doing and just down tools and get to doing it!

I'm not kidding you, we dressed up today in warm clothes and took to a very busy park to enjoy looking at the trees, the nature, the blue sky.  Blowing away the cobwebs.  I loved it.  Was amazing.

What have you done recently to ground yourself?  It's been a busy time of year for you, I know.  So if you didn't stop just yet, imagine, and use the art of visualisation to take you to a place where we went today.  Then, it's your turn.

Remember: Thoughts become things!!!

Thank you for reading my blog!

Hi everyone

I want to take a little time to write a simple 'thank you' blog.  I'm really honoured that my page views are growing in a major way and I can only guess it's where
I've learned from reading all of your blogs
I've started tagging more effectively
I've been consistent with writing or
You guys love what I'm doing.

I really like this place,  somewhere we can write and be open and honest.  I love that the views are growing.  I would love to see more comments coming through on my blog.  There are exciting things happening in my life and even though new things carry ups and downs,  I am happy to share with you my journey.

In a nutshell,  a new business is being launched within the next couple of weeks which will spark a  big interest.  All my new stuff I'm doing is going to be online including much blogging and videos.

I will be sharing this with all of you the minute it goes live.  I'm also documenting it which is a great way to share on this blog in particular.

Can you do me a favour and let me know what it is you love about your blog if you have one,  or what you love about reading others too? If you want to keep it private you can email me here

As a footnote,  I'm building the new website using wordpress.org - if only it was as easy as Blogger! I know my way around here now like there's no tomorrow!

Hope you are all well - thanks again for being here

Louise x

Omg It's official!! I'm a pro photographer now

You guys rock!

I can't believe (well I can due to the Law of Attraction: Ask, Believe, Receive) that my photography website and blog is finally up and running.

It took lots of hard thought and determination but I realised I should keep these 2 blogs seperate.  Im thinking there will be lots of wedding talk going on over on that blog which will be more work related while this one will still be Raw and open and vunerable writing!

Yes, it's all me and you over here.  I'm going to encourage the wedding folks in the photography world to advertise on my blog over there, most likely using Passionfruit.  I really am keen to get out and about and see some places, maybe even take the video camera and upload vlogs to youtube while interviewing wedding vendors.  I'd love that! It excites me beyond belief!

I'm still learning so much about blogging as one of my blog friends made me realise the other day.  She was talking 'linkies' and I'm still to learn what they are - HELP.

This blog was purely to let you know there is another blog to have a look at (this one works on bloglovin too unlike this blog you're reading now!)

https://www.facebook.com/usherphoto is obviously the facebook page.

My photography blog is here:

I'd love you to share with your google friends please please please.  Thanks you are awesome!

Where have I been?

Ahh the beauty of not having sponsorship on my blog is; I can write what I want, when I want.

Although when I'm absent I really miss it. As I LOVE writing my blog! Beyond belief.

Right now there's lots and lots of life stuff going on. Do you know the sort? The type of stuff you can only share after it's over.

So, forgive my absence. In fact, I'm not going to be absent but instead I'll be sharing some of my favourite photos with you. Starting with this lovely bunch of roses I bought myself yesterday in the florist bargain bucket for £1. Oh the joy of flowers

Can't Believe my Primark Haul video views on Youtube!

Goodness me folks!!

I'm shocked and thankful that my little un-pre-thought out Primark Haul video is approaching 500 views already!

This has been my fastest growing video to date and it looks like I'm settling more and more into my digital world.

Lucky for me I've loads of other work on right now including styling and photo shoots to get my teeth stuck into and yes, we are still waiting to hear about Mo's Visa.........arghhhh.....loads of caring people text me everyday asking.  Bless them

So,  I'll pop the link here of the Primark video - well chuffed about that.  My shy daughter in the back ground was making it so much fun.

My "Office" set up today

I love days like today!

Have a look at where I am and how my day is going while writing my latest book on IVF.

I'm sat here at my gym lounge/coffee shop (You all know I love a costa coffee) and my gorgeous friend Lisa has just popped upstairs to run a couple of K's on the treadmill.

Little sweetheart baby boy of hers sleeps next to me in his pram while I sit clickety click on my keyboard.

Writing.

My love.

Babies,  my other love.

Costa,  yet another love.

What an amazing day I'm having.

Blogging all about YOU

Hey there my blog friends

Today,  I received an email from a lady who is a coach like myself.  She was cleverly referring to blog posts.

In her opinion,  it would be foolish to write a blog post all about ones self because readers would 'switch off' and never become clients.  Ahh.... this is assuming you need to convert this into a 'lead' and make a sale of the type where you end up coaching your client.

Now,  I'm not disagreeing with this notion but obviously there are many different types of blogs and these days we seem to be interested in other peoples lives.  I certainly am that's for sure.  I'm a little bit nosey {Smile}

My interest was reignited in my blogger account when I saw many bloggers are kind of diarising their day through words and photos.  I love this.  Hang on,  I LOVE this.  Realising that many of us are of the same opinion,  I took the brave choice to put my life into published words.  I was hoping to do this anyway through my forthcoming books.

Happiness in Vitro - Louise Usher

I'm big enough to claim to be an expert in my day job of coaching others in both business and personal life.  Which means I also must be 'big' enough to admit there is loads for me to learn on the blogging and general publishing platform.

Marketing,  affiliate links,  sponsorship, Youtube and adsense accounts are all beginning to show signs of adding to the income needed to start doing more and more of my passion which is writing.  Excellent news!

For ages I stumbled upon opening up on a blog and to be honest,  I still keep my wordpress account going which is often less personal and may use this for blogging to business owners too.  Much is duplicated onto here but I'm loving my new blogger friends who bravely share their lives too.

So tell me,  when you blog,  do you write from the heart,  sharing about yourself?

Or do you consider the reader at all times?  Making sure they are 'gaining' something from your reading?

Engaging your audience is great but I'm such a believer that there is a place in the market for being nosey and looking at other people's wedding photos and hearing about love stories.... look at "Bridget Jones" and "Adrian Mole"........huge,  HUGE stories.

So here I go too.....I"m interested to know what makes you write? Also,  do you constantly write in your own head?  Wishing your fingertips just simply 'grew' a laptop so you could strike while the iron is hot?

Let me know below.... cos I'm nosey..

Love from Journal Girl....x

ps, my Bloglovin link has been down, I'm hoping it's working again now! Please follow me by clicking the link at the sidebar
