#BloggersLoveLFW - Do they?

Sadly, last night at London Fashion week was definitely not all we had hoped it was going to be.

Me and the guys from Global Stars (half of us) went along as apparently VIP guests to a blogger event.  It was chaos.  We sadly didn't get to talk to suppliers except one and I will be reviewing their product soon over on Youtube.

Meanwhile, the best way to describe it is through the video.  Go and take a look!

Have you been to London Fashion week?  How was it for you?

Professional Beauty, London - Wow! Wow! Wow!

Honestly, totally, the best Pro beauty I have ever seen!

What was different?  I'm really not sure but there was a feeling, a buzz, an excitement!

Aside from the glamour, the gorgeous people, the amazing sets created by big names in the industry, there seemed to be some magic in the atmosphere.

Greeted by the press department, we were welcomed with champagne and chatted to some amazing strangers who were soon to become friends.  Also there to soak up the brands!

Jasmine and I quickly headed through the already-bustling walkways onto Art Pro Nail who we had previously corresponded with.  Meeting the team with beaming smiles (and looking like a coffee wouldn't go amiss already) they were crazy busy.  I can see why.  A wonderful product within the stand.  Worthy of an entire blog post all to itself and indeed a definite Youtube video!  You don't want to miss it so go ahead and subscribe to the channel and you will be able to see when the video demo goes up.

Taking nails to a whole new level; art pro nail have an amazing piece of affordable kit where you can offer a service that screams 'bespoke' at its best!

Tanning,  nails,  eyebrows and lashes,  skincare (always overflowing queues) and my lovely friend Sally on the Lipo Angel stand (too busy to interrupt to say hello!)

Have a look at the photos and feel free to click the links below for companies who were keen to share their websites.

Live Q and A

Hey there

How's the world in your Lusher Life?

Things here have been crazy and fun all at the same time.  Yesterday after many requests I made a live Q and A on google hangouts and youtube! IT was awesome.  Raw.  You get to see the real me.  I even almost cried tears of JOY.

Missed it?  Never mind, watch it here!  If you don't have an hour to watch, scroll to the 40th minute onwards where I speak about writing as a passion and my moment of realisation.

Much love

Winter walk on the beach

An uphill climb sometimes?

Life had been overly busy.

As usual, frantic times were to be had in the Usher household.

Too much to do, not enough time to do it.  The usual kind of thing you would find in any house.  Feeling a little overwhelm and sadness along with a good pinch of resentment coming in; I realised.

It was definitely time.

Time to get out in nature and blow away the cobwebs.  I didn't seem to mind that it was the middle of winter.  Nor did it matter to me that it might be amazingly cold on the beach.

Pulling up the handbrake of the car, tired eyes grew wide as we looked down to the beach below.  Tidal seas had taken the water far away from the beach, leaving playful rock pools to explore and just the right amount of depth for small furry paws to dip.

The beach was going to host us on this day and that was that!

The brightest of blue skies

Harley was keen to come and get his feet wet and  a coat full of sand.  That was just fine.  We all needed our legs stretched and i had decided we would make it a very long walk!

Small paw prints on the golden sand.

Margate Clock tower.

Sun blazing, the sky was as blue as the equatic skies.  Lucky with the warmth, we could not quite fathom the weather.  This was February.  The time of year when spring begins but to have felt the warmth on our skin was amazing.

Aching feet but happy souls, we walked several miles.  Even Harleys little legs.

Just what the universe needed us to do.  Get grounded.  Be in the nature.

Without taking time to stock, things can go bang.

Until the next bit of pressure of time, or unpleasantness that can so often be coupled with human beings, I was in a state of calm.  The natural surroundings of our local beach in Kent had healed once again.

I love this place.  Goodness does it know how to talk nicely to people.

Wordless.

Just its energy.  It's feeling.

Thank you, nature.

Crazy Social media frenzy!

What in the world is going on?

More manifestations - well, I did ask for it!
As you know, as I have told you so many times, you get what you think about.  I have spent the past couple of years building my business online and I love it!

How do you know you are doing the right job?  Well, coaches often say if you are feeling like you just want to get up and keep doing what you are doing over and over again then you are in the right job.  So here I am, on my day off, writing, editing and more writing.  I love it.

Is that how you feel about your own life?  If not, you are able to make changes.  Let me tell you, this visualisation stuff really works.
For me, I have manifested so many results recently and have a very clear understanding of where I am going forwards.  Such a lovely feeling.  Here's where you come in.  Not only can you help me, but you can be a little nosey in the process! We all love to peek into each others lives.  Recently I have been sharing more and more on Youtube - insights into my day.  People seem to love this stuff.  That, coupled with my blog....

Share some love, be nice and manifest your dreams!

“Years ago it was all hard work, not like these days!” exclaimed the hospital patient.

With a raised eyebrow, trying to be understanding I replied, “You didn’t have all the washing machines and gadgets we have now did you?”  - You see where I was going here?

“Well, we had to take care of our home, look after our children, not like you youngsters.  We had to scrub our floors.  We didn’t have all these posh floorings like lino and that!”  Her bed neighbour agreed. As the neighbour told me how she was too young to join the army in the war, unlike the complaining/humourous patient I was trying to gauge how old these ladies might be, in order to make myself more understanding of them. My own mum was born just 6 days before the war which makes her now 75.  So if one of these ladies was in the war she surely had to be at least 90?  Aware that they did things much younger years ago, I failed to see how these ladies were so elderly.  They didn’t look it.  Perhaps ladies get to an age where they stop ageing.  Such sweethearts, all of them.

It’s important to me to enhance their experience.  Being here, smiling, chatting, allowing them to tell me how easy I’ve got it these days.  In reality, it grated a little as life has it challenges no matter who you are or where you are from.  Or when.

Turning back to the patient I was taking care of, I tried to inject some more light into the conversation.

“I wonder what life will be like in another 50 years when I’m laying here talking to a ‘youngster’ like me.  I wonder if I will be saying, ‘when I was your age we didn’t even have robots!’ “  To which the patients laughed and said yes well you never know.

The past 100 years have seen many manifestations come to fruition.  The Wright brothers with their ‘bonkers’ idea that men can fly.  Now of course we fly everyday, all over the world.  People told them they were crazy.
Internet.
Laptops
Even mobile phones.  I remember being without mobile phones.  My children ask me, “Mum what did you do if you were out shopping and went in different directions? How would you find each other?”
“Well we would have to arrange a meeting place and time, with a plan if we lost each other!”
The expression on the children's faces shouted out ‘How inconvenient!’

Sitting in a restaurant I was managing, talking to a rep a few years ago she enlightened me to the fact that one day soon our mobile phones would be computers. Everything would be done on a mobile phone.  “NO?” I questioned, Lee Evans style!  She was right.  So here we are in the hospital discussing the future of robots.

However, I’m not sure life is any easier for us now as it ever was as so many folks seem to love to replace one problem with another. For example, the lady who was talking about fighting the war (pretty big deal, you’ll agree) would now be replaced by a woman who decides to attack her team mates for doing things differently than her.  Not such a big deal on the face of things but if you are the one dealing with this from either side then you will find it’s a massive deal.  Leading to health issues, tummy upsets, tears, children seeing mummy crying, overflowing dishwashers and a whole heap of stress.  We deal with what we deal with in the way we deal with it.  Everyones issues are real and true to them at the time.  All of us would be very caring to remember that.  I do my utmost to put others first but occasionally it gets to the point of not being able to do that at the detriment of your own life.

Listening to sweet elderly ladies at the twilight of their life tell me how easy my life is is one thing.  After I had spent the morning cooking breakfast, making packed lunches, doing the school run, driving straight to a posh clients hotel room for her blow dry, back to the salon for a colour correction of a lady who attempted her own hair colour, onto biology revision, then 2 school runs at different times, off to the hospital to help patients nutrition for a few hours, home at 7.30, cook dinner, generate presentation slides on the traffic light labelling system, overcome some technical issues (as best I could) and more revision of Science and Biology before I fell asleep at 12.30.  Up at 4.45 for more revision (all not including any housework!) greeted by a very attacking email from a team member who was unhappy with my presentation slides.

Life is easy huh.

We all have our cross to bear.  We all could focus on the challenges.  However, no matter how much hard work this seems right now in this red hot minute, I will do my utmost to remain calm, present and in the flow.  Down stream.

The path of least resistance.

Thank you, Abraham Hicks for that thought.

Just like the Wright (Right?) brothers and their crazy scheme to get men to fly.  All the attacks they dealt with.  No doubt life was tricky and hard for them during their plight. Putting my attacks into perspective.

Why oh why won’t people be more lovely?

If we all made an effort today to smile, to love, to help, to be kind.  Wouldn't the world be a better place.  Who knows, maybe the sun would shine, perhaps wars would end.

Valentines day is tomorrow. Share some love

Valentines Day is fast approaching!

Happy valentines to you!

So what do you wish for this year on Valentines?  I've made a couple of videos for you to see.  This way if you are
single,

settled you can find something for all of you in there!

Updates galore this week! I am off to Pro-beauty soon (big shout out to Art Pronail UK who have some lovely gooddies for us and will be featuring on my Vlog of the day!) and will be taking Jasmine along with me as she is almost more of a make up expert than me these days!
Following that, It's off to London Fashion week with the Global Stars girls and just before all of this I will be live streaming on Youtube.  I've been inundated with questions and thought it would be easier to do a live stream on Youtube to get all the questions answered!
Let me know if you have a question you would like answered.

You will see my blog link ups on the lovely website of Sprinkle of Glitter! Exciting times.

I'm adding on some of my posts and videos here that you will find have been featuring this past 2 weeks on the internet! Hope you enjoy them!
