Vlogmas day 9 from the past 3 years

Let's head back in time.

What was I doing 2 years ago? Graduating from my nutrition, health, physchology and chemistry diploma

Then last year, my lovely son decided to come on one of my videos at last.  He's not shy, just not keen to be involved in my vlogs where Jasmine is.  Of course I love them both so totally differently :)

Then, 3 years ago, just as today, we were scraping the ice off the cars as it was FREEZing....

This year? I'm mostly taking care of mum with  a little help from the blood pressure machines and stuff. 

Hence, very few videos here to show here that are of new quality.  For which I apologise but this lack of excitement is a good thing as it means I get to look after mum.

My journaling month #najowrimo

This page sits empty as I attempt to edit and click on 'view'.

IT's empty?  That can't be.  I'm way too busy to be journalling, yet journalling is just the thing I want to be doing.  What is stopping me?  I'm a night mare.  How can it be that I am not logging the 500 words per day I had planned for myself.

Enough times I have been quoted on the internet that this is my passion, this is what I want to be doing with my life.  Writing.

Hash tag am writing.  #amwriting - everywhere. Yet am I?  Mentally yes!

So here we are with nothing more  than a title beginning on July 1st.

NaJoWriMo.  What does that mean? Some of you may remember last July I wrote a short novel in Nanowrimo which means national novel writing month.  NaJo is national journal writing month.  I love a bit of journalling.  From the pretty stationary isle right down to the actual brain dumping and turning into manifestations.  Gosh, I feel the flow now! It's July 10th (eek almost half way through the month) and I sit in a bar in Gran Canaria hotel with glasses chinking all around me and the sound of charleston type music with plenty of clarinet playing as the professional circus act happens on a tiny stage.  Clapping and cheers of hooray stemming from the audience which includes my amazing daughter and mum.  They are enjoying the show.  I'm happy here.  Not one for home sickness as such (I have wanderlust way too much) there are several things I miss about home.  Writing at my desk being one of those things.  The lighting of a candle carefully cradled by Buddha and of course my hairy companion shihtzu puppy (who's 8) called Harley.  He's always at my side loving me.

So as I type directly onto blogger here, I am unaware of how many words I type.  Not 500 that's for sure.  Yet I'm super keen to get this post uploaded.  Yet again there is so much I have to say.  So much.  

Even though I read back through my muse and I can see my words are flowing faster than my brain which is also flowing very fast.  Am I describing everything enough to you guys?  Mr NaJo says we should write for ourselves.  Yes, I agree, yet there are a few (not many) innermost secrets I will only write for myself personally, but I digress.

Someone on the internet who I follow, love and find inspiring just brought me down.  Watching a IG live broadcast she was explaining how hard it is to make a living online these days unless you succumb to multi level marketing.  Well there certainly is a place for MLM online I agree.  Yet I disagree with all else she is saying and comments like this need to be carefully edited as dreams can get shattered.  For me, and my health issues as well as having to take care of mum now, the only choice I really have is to work online which is handy as its also what I want to do with every beat of my heart.  That dream has never wavered.  Never.  Its even there when I sleep.  Hence, sitting in a bar, missing out on the 'professional show'  -I just can't help myself.

#veda - the difference between last year and this year

Do you know what #veda is?

It stands for Vlog Everyday in August.

Last years videos were interesting as I took a camping trip and had lots of fun.  Although still confident, I was a little unsure where my online life might take me and at the time it still felt very much 'the dream'.

This August though, I am focused and determined with more 'guts' than ever before.

Knowing how my body is taking  a toll on the physical lifestyle I have led for so many years, there is a must element about making a career out of this blog and my Youtube channel.

Every single one of you who have subscribed, read a post and bought a book are totally in my heart.  Please leave a comment to let me know you are out there.  I'd love to say hi.  I get so many lovely comments over on my Youtube channel.  I love them all.

They make me smile :)

This feels more than surreal writing this.

Meeting Tyler Oakley and Stephen H Vlog

Good morning everyone!



How's life treating you all?  How was your halloween?  Gosh, I feel like there is so much to catch up on between you and I.  Honestly,  things have been manic here as always and as you know by now, checking in with my blog is just the best - I love it.  My place of retreat and love. <3



My theory about firework night is this: in Kent, we seem to get a turn in the weather right after the 5th of November and typically when we see our first frost.  I'm hoping it holds out for a few more days.  I've yet another exciting weekend coming up and you don't want to miss this one! Day 1 of #veda my 10 favourite things

As you will see from the video above I have decided to take part in VEDA which means Vlog everyday in August.

Professional Beauty, London - Wow! Wow! Wow!

Honestly, totally, the best Pro beauty I have ever seen! 

What was different?  I'm really not sure but there was a feeling, a buzz, an excitement!

Aside from the glamour, the gorgeous people, the amazing sets created by big names in the industry, there seemed to be some magic in the atmosphere.

Greeted by the press department, we were welcomed with champagne and chatted to some amazing strangers who were soon to become friends.  Also there to soak up the brands!

Jasmine and I quickly headed through the already-bustling walkways onto Art Pro Nail who we had previously corresponded with.  Meeting the team with beaming smiles (and looking like a coffee wouldn't go amiss already) they were crazy busy.  I can see why.  A wonderful product within the stand.  Worthy of an entire blog post all to itself and indeed a definite Youtube video!  You don't want to miss it so go ahead and subscribe to the channel and you will be able to see when the video demo goes up.

So much has been going on this January!

So I don't know about you and your new year resolutions,  but I didn't even make any.

Although it has been such a full and exciting January so far!  

I'm even back dancing once again! This has been a massive void in my life and I'm not sure what ever possessed me to stop.  But it's the music, the people, the movement... all this has got my heart beating double time once again and making me feel like I'm cranking up my life on the 'living' stakes!

Where do I start with sharing you all the news that has gone on?  Well, I'm never sure           (unless you tell me) how you came across my blog.  Although what I do know is that my blogs on Law of Attraction and creating the life of your dreams are always, always popular.  Who wouldn't want to manifest the life of their dreams eh?

Show of hands?  Well, I'm first in the line too.  Living my own journey has, I'm sure resonated with some of you and this hopefully lets you connect.  See, even when so called 'experts' share nuggets of information, there isn't always a smooth path to follow.  These things take time, and some work too.

Approaching it from a place of love is always how I like it.  As in, even if it seems like an uphill climb sometimes, it's still the climb that is the exciting part.  Who wants to get to the top?  Well maybe to sit and take in the view for a while and enjoy being up there.  Then will come the need for the next challenge.  This is where I'm at for sure. 

My course at university takes a whole heap of commitment and work.  I love it though.  I love the challenge and I have found a way in which I can give it my all. If it turns out my all won't get me the marks I need for next year, I can take a slightly different course.  But give it my all; I shall.

If you have seen me around twitter  you may have noticed I was taking part in Vlogmas and met a whole new bunch of lovely friends.  Recently, we met up and had an awesome weekend in Liverpool and we have since started a collab channel on Youtube.  Exciting!  We are all bringing different things to the table and its a diverse channel.  Our next meet up is happening in London at the end of March where the international star of our channel is coming over from Oz.  Fantastic!




So, it seems that once again, the Law of attraction is in action and taking me to different places than I had imagined.
During all this, someone from my gig on Fiverr has got in touch and asked me to feature regularly on their membership site (bi-weekly) which is also exciting.  I will pass details on in my next blog.  So I shall definitely be focused more and more on the law of attraction for you there too.
