Want some Magic in your life (From Rhonda Byrne)?

Rhonda Byrne is the amazing lady who wrote "The Secret"

Did you read it?

What did you make of it?

I tell you what,  it totally changed my life.  Totally.  I've got so many stories to tell since I read this book.  Life has certainly changed in ways I could never have imagined.

If you have never heard of the Law Of Attraction or the Secret I would urge you to get over to google and have a look.  There's a link over -----------} there of my book which is about the basics.  Folks are getting on board and giving this a good read with some amazing stuff to say about it.

Well,  after having a little nose around Youtube recently,  I saw a young lady doing a vlog about the Rhonda Byrne book called The Magic.

After 28 days of using the Magic you will see amazing life transformations.  So, I've decided I'm going to order it and give it a go.

After an introduction,  there are step by step guides to lead you each day. For example day 1 is all about giving gratitude.  Give out gratitude and more good stuff comes your way.

Click on the photo of the book to order a copy and help support me with my blog as I will make a few pence... Thankyou, in gratitude!

Does Food really affect your health?

Who out there is getting confused?
Are you always tired?
Stressed?
Tummy rumbling?
Upset stomach?
Indigestion?

We hear about so many different types of diet for weight loss that it almost drives you to lose weight in itself with the brain power you use trying to figure out what is the best thing to do.

So,  how on earth are we supposed to figure out in amongst all this if a said ‘diet’ is actually going to benefit our health too?
Worry not,  you are not alone.  There are many folks asking exactly the same question.  So weight loss aside (along with its confusion) let’s talk about health and nutrition.

My story is quite a miracle.  It’s for another blog which I very much expect has a high chance of being published really soon.  However,  I do speak from experience when I tell you that
·      without Question
·      With total conviction
·      With passion
Food affects our health.

Food AFFECTS our health.

Why is this such a mystery to our doctors?  I do get a little on my soap box even though I have total respect for our doctors and I know we need them.  Without them we sure would be in big trouble.  However, I have been avidly researching food and nutrition and its effects on our health for the past 7 years.  Actually,  it was my biggest scoring exam I left school with.  Shall I tell you a brief story?

During my school years,  I was so confused about which options to take.  My lovely Aunt told me gently,
“You really need to do a job you will enjoy and also be good at.”
Enjoy?  I thought?  Enjoy work?

Now at this age enjoying work was a new concept to me as I had watched my hard working factory parents have a terrible time at work.

Hmm, enjoy work.  Well,  I went on to take Biology and also Food and Nutrition with the hope of going on to become a Nutritionist.  However,  school advised me I would never get a job like that as there are only 4000 opportunities within the country.  So instead I went on to cook for a living and progressed to management.  All the time keeping my interest in Nutrition.

More recently,  7 years ago in fact I was diagnosed with a big issue to do with my digestion.  I will tell that story in another blog.

Having a big problem with my health at the time,  I got very sick.  It was a worrying time for me and my family and I decided to get back onto the research wagon again.

Fighting with my Dr who wanted to either perform surgery or put me onto steroids with blood infusions,  I was determined there was another way.

I’m so happy that I found a diet which was something I certainly needed to focus hard on.  This diet I will detail further another time but my point is that just 2 short years later my lovely Dr who we now carry a mutual respect,  sat in his office and said,
“I have to be honest,  I never saw someone make such a huge recovery without drugs or surgery.”

How did I do it?  Eating the right foods.  Now I see a list as long as your arm of different diets out there for all types of ailments.

We have:
ME
Adrenal Fatigue
IBS
Fibromyalgia
Acidosis
Crohns disease
Ulcerative Colitis
Excema
Asthma

and the list goes on…

So think if IBS for example.  That’s not actually a diagnosis.  It’s a symptom.  It’s like the Dr saying “You have a headache” when you need the reason for the headache.

I know so many dozens and dozens of people who personally changed diet to realize  they could relieve symptoms.
We all seem to feel tired or lethargic at times.  We often get stomach gurgles or wind….this can all be changed with a change in diet.  Did you already know that?

However,  let’s dig deeper into the minefield of what/where/how in this blog…

Last weekend news and gossip!

Windy weather

Hello!!!!

So hows the quest for a Lusher Life going in your part of the world?

Things in my life are going tickety boo!  More and more clients are signing up for the Coaching with me which is great timing.  I'm on the UP!  Using the Law of Attraction, my old friend to help and guide me along the way.

Things  are tough at times and that's just as it should be,  without it,  life is flat.  So I am pretty good at getting through a bad situation. I'm pretty sure my coaching clients see that as a strength in me.

Last weekend really helped.  As you all know I'm a big fan of walking in nature and I took the family (they took me?) to the windy shores of the Kent Coast,  UK.

Man it was FREEEZINGGGG and blew away the cobwebs as my mum would say.

Here,  I share our typical day at the seaside photos.

Beach huts all closed for the winter

Family (and Harley of course) brisk walk

Chilly Twins waiting for the Hot chocolate

Margate Clock tower

Choppy waves!

Seagulls lined up sunbathing!

Likely to be my favourite beach in the world! Westbrook Bay...

Little furry ears blowing in the wind!

My weekend in London! It was brilliant!!!

Did you guess from the title what this blog is about?

Yes,  my weekend.  I had such a great time,  I would love to share it all here with you guys.

We had a family birthday, a leaving party, Christmas lights switching on and a concert!

Big balls including the disco balls in Covent Garden.  So pretty
So arriving in London in heavy rain,  we hopefully were all thinking we would be ok, wet or not.  We had promised the children the trip to London and when we knew the lights would be switched on in Regent Street with Heart FM radio station there we were thrilled.

They then announced the Spice Girls and Leona Lewis would be singing too.  Woo hoo.  Such exciting stuff.

Sadly,  although we heard them,  we could not get close enough to see them.  London was busy and the atmosphere was electric.

After realising we would have to stand for 2 hours to just listen from a distance we went for a celebratory dinner at Garfunkels to warm up.  Although,  we were right near the front door and the queue of people waiting for tables decided to keep the front door open so we popped our coats back on again!

My biggest complaint in these types of restaurant.  Although,  I do have to say the food was good.

Please check out Jasmine and I with our funky shining OPI nails!
Never seen the Christmas lights switch on before!! It's like London was declaring "Christmas is here!"

Call me a big kid but I can't wait! Can't wait!

After walking a long hike through the cold we had to stop for a cheeky hot chocolate before crossing the river Thames with the freezing wind blowing.  Although, I did chose coffee as I had a pretty dark drive home.

The gorgeous london eye looked brill with Big Ben all illuminated behind it!  But boy we were chilly after our rapid legs brought us over the bridge.

After a refreshing sleep,  Sunday slowly arrived as Sunday should.  Coffee and breakfast followed to stoke me up ready for a big cook fest in the kitchen.  We had a big family get together and I'm pleased to say all plates were cleared after my success with the sunday roast!

The evening was nicely topped off with a brilliant visit to the local Theatre to see the Stylistics! They were amazing! I've seen groups like this before and I guess as you get older the strength in the voice can decline slightly.

Not these guys.  I was so impressed.  Talent on legs for sure.  I took a sneaky 10 second video and I will be adding it to this weekend Vlog that I am yet to edit.  Please come over to my Youtube channel and subscribe and you will see it there soon!
