How do you know if this is the right job for you?

Just occasionally, we get this feeling where we feel a little,
“Ugh, I really don’t want to do that/can’t be bothered”

Then other times we feel,
“OH goodness this is incredible, I could do this all day/totally loving this”

So how do you know well enough to recognize these things?  I addressed that in todays Motivational Monday video.

Last week I was working on some exciting things.  Two of them left my stomach lurching and I knew I didn’t want to progress with this. One other project got me so so excited and I was totally buzzing with the progression of the work.

How do you know?

1.     Tap into how it is making you think as you begin to talk about it or think about it.
2.     Does the conversation in your head have you thinking you are less than keen?
3.     Is there a kind of lurching in your stomach at the thought of carrying through this task or job?
4.     Do you feel more than excited at the prospect of this ‘thing’ coming into fruition
5.     Are you giving this project your all?

Does this make sense to you are resonate? Perhaps you literally needed it spelt out and are now nodding along thinking ‘ahh yes’

My belief is these things are important in the big scheme of life. Contributing to your health and wellness as well as life excitements.

As always, much love

Louise xoxo

Being a YouTuber

This trip has been more enlightening than I would have imagined.

Thinking I was bringing mum away on her last trip of her life (although I have said that before) to give her a nice time is about as far as I had thought.

Yet within just a few days of being on this beautiful peninsula, and here I was realising that there was an energy shift.  Just like I had back in Egypt in 2009.  Strange.  Unexplainable.
How does this happen?  I wasn't sure.

Julia started it! She and I were watching 'Strings at Sunset' and she spoke to her husband about me.
"I'm sure that's Louise who we watched on Youtube." And came over to ask me.  Yes it was me.  This was a little surreal.  She continued to tell me how she had found the videos helpful and watched several of them.  Wow.  I loved that.
As the week continued, other new friends came and introduced themselves as viewers too.  Often we would just pass each other and they would let me know how helpful my work has been to them.  Ha.  Work.  I love that.  Talk about the best job in the world.  So, yes it is hard work at times but such a blast.  Love it.  Knowing that it's not just out there in the ether is exciting. People are finding this helpful.  And I love making them.

So now I knew what I needed to do with my life.
Which is handy as being here and places like this are helping me to feel so much better in myself physically and mentally.

Going back home sees lots of editing needing to go on which I'm excited to upload. Especially now that this is helping people.  The future looks bright.

What to do when you think you have it all figured out.

Have you ever felt like you are cruising through life and perhaps you even took forever to figure out where you need to be going and what you need to be doing and a big old curveball came as you were flowing downstream and knocked you into a totally different direction?

That was a long sentence to read so take a deep breath.  Did that sound familiar?
Yes me too.  Here's the story.

I was cruising through life (haha!) like pretty much everyone with twists and turns coming along and it all being a bit too much.  For me, there has been a lot of inner work going on as you will know if you are a follower of this blog.  Then I finally listened to all the signs that were guiding me and it has become clear.  Starting to work hard on my new direction of writing full time, figuring out my schedule and just like that <Boom> everything changed.

Yesterday I was enjoying a business meeting and a meal when I took a call to let me know my mother had fallen over in the garden after slipping on wet decking.  Darn stuff is so dangerous.  We already added non slip stepping stones but she wouldn't use them.  Mother has dementia and heart failure.  My back was turned and now I'm full of guilt.  She has multiple injuries and this is hurting me almost as much as her.  The guilt is horrid.  Yet what do you do?  You need to provide for a family of 4 as the breadwinner yet everyone needs a piece of you too.

You know I took my business online and I'm very fortunate to be able to work at a level where my income can be generated online but this isn't a quick fix and still needs some time and attention.  Thank god for the digital age.

Many people ask me (it's my biggest question) "How do you earn money online?" I'm so lucky to be able to answer them but moreover I get rewarded by those who are unable to get out to work due to family commitments or their own health.  I love seeing people take the opportunities offered to us in this century of working from their laptops when otherwise they wouldn't be able to work.

Yet still, these curveballs come along.  So how do you manage?

Go with the gut.  What feels right at that time?  For instance, I know I need to be at home more right now caring for mum so we need to ensure the finances stack up for a few days of taking it easier with work.  Perhaps you can sort a schedule around your childrens bedtimes.
You may be a person, like me, with an illness which sometimes needs your attention.  If this is the case, rest when you need to and when you are feeling better or motivated then get to work.

Do you really need to dust the lights?

Can you either get some help for the stuff which needs doing within the house or can you leave it?  I have learnt to deal with the frustrations of having a slightly more messy house for the sake of us having the success I want.  What's important?  Think about taking a couple of hours off from work then decide what really needs doing. A few bits of washing, some cooking, or going out with the family and creating some memories.

My next blog post will see some ideas for you to get working online.

Whatever you do, remember the law of attraction is always in action and the best way forward is positivity in the face of adversity.  While sometimes, we need to realise we are human beings and life gets in the way of 100% positivity 100% of the time.

When it does, don't be hard on yourself.  You're only human.

This is where I need your help!

Good morning all.

I need your help.

If you are a regular reader of this blog you will know there have been many twists and turns in life for me lately and I am very clear where my online life and working career are heading now which is brilliant! This type of clarity is something I have mediated on over and over and I'm chuffed beyond words that I am now clear!

How can you help me?

Recently I put a post out on Facebook which is not my favourite platform and asked what people want to see from me and there was a definite split.
So, the dream is to write full time which is what I now do.  However, I wasn't sure if most of this would be from writing romance (which I am going to do under a pen name which won't be a secret but it will keep my SEO and Google tidier) or from my lifestyle and nutrition research.  As myself (and the Lusher life brand) it's all about making life better and living the dream.  Which for me as an individual means writing those love stories.

So what do you prefer?  Do you get much value from the blogs which are helping you with health and lifestyle?  Or are you more likely to want to hear about my writing journey and read the romance novels?  Would you be kind and drop me a quick line to let me know?  You can do it here through my email.

Do you want to work online?

Currently I am doing a lot of research on how I can best answer the question I am asked most often,
"How can I create my dream life and work online?"
As I make no secret about this being the perfect answer for me while dealing with family things and my own daily consideration of Crohns disease.  Yet I'm not going to pretend it's easy but I think I may have found the ideal course to show you how to do it. Is this something you might be interested  in hearing more about?  I'd love you to let me know your dreams and wishes. You can either comment on this video or send me an email.

Let's do this thing called life?!!!

Much love

You asked for more law of attraction stories

Ok folks, you spoke.  I have been tuning in far more on the little stories of law of attraction that I am going to show you right here in this post.

Many have asked me to speak more of the LOA here and on my Youtube channel so that's what I will do.

Right now there is some pretty MASSIVE stuff going on in my life. All more than good.
Suffice to say I haven't felt so good in literally years.  So much so that I couldn't sleep last night which is unheard of for me.  What about you? Do you lie awake in utter excitement for life and what it is bringing to you right about now? That was me last night,  Anyhow... most of this good stuff isn't the type of news I can share yet.  Secretly though, I hate when you tubers and bloggers do the whole secret squirrel thing so please ignore that I said that :)

Basil Brush was the feature of my latest manifestation.  You see my second oldest friend has been unwell.  Feeling a need to check on her far more than I should I sent a text.  She replied,
"I'm ok, I'm snuggled up with Basil Brush." Obviously I was perplexed and simply had to ask the story behind Basil Brush.  Now, she is daft as a brush and there is totally no reason for me to share with you the story. Just store away the Basil Brush image.

Following this, a night later (last night) Jas and Lewis were just about to go out.
"Bye bye Basil Brush." Lewis called out 100% randomly.
My shocked face, with the widest eyes and open mouth (Why am I still shocked after the copious amounts of times this happens?) Jas looked and said, 'what was that mum?' knowing it would be a manifestation.  Telling the story of my friend and the text, I showed her the photo.  Now, what on earth has this got to do with anything?  Totally nothing.  Yet the relevance comes as we begin to align with the big stuff.  Should a wee element of doubt creep into the mind, the reminders come in with these little stories to remind us of the alignment.

Have faith.  Trust it.  It's all coming for you.

And me I sense too...

Much love, as always

Out of my hands.

Out of my hands.

It’s been decided for me.

Plenty of times I have suspected there are moments of ‘oh, I should be doing this.’ or, ‘ah I think they are leading me here.’
Often, I don’t listen.

Tiny voices echo in my head, “write! Write!” and I feel it in my gut too.  I begin to write. I am filled with joy. I love it.
From deeper within another voice begins to whisper.
“You aren’t good enough.”
“You need to earn money.”
“You like stress.”
“You like rushing around.”
“You like routine.”
“You love doing your make up and rushing out the door.”
“You need a proper job.”
“You need a normal job.”
Driving my friends crazy, I look for reassurance.
“I love writing, what do you think I should do? Could I work online? Do you think it could be a success?”
They tell me, “YES!” Every time.

So I write.

Something takes over and I read back what I have written, feeling as if it has generated a little magic.  My words; somehow with a twist of soul.
Downstream with ease.
The dream, this is the dream.

A whirlwind of practicalities and childhood programming interrupts my passions.  Imagine, as a child, growing up with no internet, jeez not even a mobile phone in sight.  A cordless phone was for the privileged few.
Working online was something not even invented.
Being a writer meant getting a book deal from a publishing house (and they would be taking a huge chunk of your earnings).  No wonder this little voice of doubt hops in to throw me off my tracks.

Getting to it.  Working hard on the job that, yes, is the dream but still somehow is only explored mostly in the industry - working for others - towing the line and not questioning what the boss might say.
Being told you can only have time to yourself for 4 weeks of the year. After that, your life is theirs.
Don’t expect to put your healthy eating, exercise, taking care of your family first.  All of that comes after…

Dreams of taking my laptop to write (to some fireplace within the woods, looking out through windows filled with nature views) take a back seat.
Just as my pen and journal couldn’t consider visiting Bali for a couple of months, my Nikon will sit and gather dust rather than accompany my muse I write while touring California.
Simplistic holidays in Mykonos creating videos for all to see on my vlog channel will all have to wait.

The dream might be on hold.

Synchronicity of my friends and my health shake me.

No!

Take the dream off hold and listen!
“Louise you are a natural leader.”
“So many people find you inspiring.”
“You talk from the heart, raw and real.”
That’s the friends.

The health says nothing but does lots.  Crohns sees me unable to dash out of the door.  The make up does not cover my dark circles.  Fatigue puts me into bed.  Malabsorption contributes to mental health issues.
Arthritis. Infection. Inflammation. Degenerative discs…the list is a long one.
Refusing to give this focus, I continue with my stress filled life. Convincing myself it’s a buzz.

Convincing myself the dream life is plan B.  Only to be used in an emergency.  As this cannot possibly be the sensible option.

Today sees me back in hospital.  What looms next made me afraid.  From that fear the dream is once again born.  If life was shorter than I had hoped what would be my absolute must do?
Finish that book.  That IVF story I’m loving to write.  The one folks have been waiting to pre-order in, like, forever.

Spending time chatting to two very close friends tonight on Facebook messenger (while mis-typing through the drugs I have had to take) we figured out a few things.
Why do I doubt it when I have sold books already though my amazon page?
When over 9000 people visit my blog every month?
When 482,981 people have watched my Youtube channel? And it makes me money every month.
Why Stylehaul signed me up as a creator and pay me to create.
Collectively around 12,000 people follow me on social media channels…not a bad number and definitely a few good platforms.
Companies like Giorgio Armani, Musclefood, Abel and Cole sponsor me to experience their products.

What am I questioning?

Today, I fall in love with my Crohns.  Another curveball.  More clarity than ever.  Now there is no choice.  I must work from home.  I’m trying to be well. Hoping to be well.  Yet damage was done as young as I can remember and I can still live a healthy life and help myself as best I can.  However, I must refuse my gut the torture of those little  voices telling me to shy away from an amazing life that is clearly grabbing a hold of my chubby cheeks and telling me to do what I love.

If you laugh at me that’s fine.  I have not followed my dream in case of that.  Yet my life deserves to be the best I can give it.   Those who don’t support my journey can stop following, reading, clicking.  Yet I am determined to live my best life and to give my best shot to working.  This work needs to respect my disease and fit in with my loving family, my wonderful life and the fabulous plans I have.

Who’s with me?

Why I owe you a big apology!

I'm sorry.  So so sorry.

You are the most important thing on my blogosphere.  You must know that right? If not, let me tell you then I tell you why...

I think about you all day, pretty much every day.  You are on my mind and in my thoughts.  I remember I must tell you this and that, writing out the muse in my mind in a way I feel is creative enough to warrant that keyboard under my fingertips before I get a chance.
It's not about the writing, its about the reading.

The readers...YOU.

Why do I need to apologise to you?  IT's on my mind to write to you constantly then I don't.
Bedtime comes around and I have talked myself out of writing. For whatever reason there might be.   I'm tired, I've got off the boil, I'm tired.  Yet what is the number 1 thing I want to be doing with my time when I'm not at work work or looking after the family? It's writing to you guys.

Now you see there have been many times of late when those 'monkey chatters' have been going round and round my mind telling me to do something sensible with my time. Something credible. Something that will make me a solid grounding amount of money to take care of the family.
Yet is that really what I want to be doing?  Is that what will fill my cup,  feed my soul and get the bit between my teeth in this journey called life?

The law of attraction has been fluent in my life for around 4 years now, yet still I tweak it and play around with it, arguing with it.  Then along it comes with a bang to tell me, "Not like that, like this."  More than ever before I feel it.  i feel a calling with such strength to tell you my stories, to teach what i know and to help you along your law of attraction journey too. I had never forgotten that.  Yet needed reminding.

You may know through my other posts or by my social media (especially Instagram which I have been active on lately) that I'm doing lots of travelling. I'm loving it.  Every day I mentally write  a blog post to you all with cute photos the minute I get a chance yet still they haven't made the cute to this blog.  They will.  As will my stories.

Clarity hit me right between the eyes this afternoon as excuses be gone.  Not a chance in the world that I will sit and take that sensible chance.  I'm a writer.  It's in my heart.  In my crazy blonde curly hair and in my life.

Me, my crazy hair and a bit of travel

I will write for you guys.  Help me by reading my blog...

Love always

Time to travel to Majorca

Majorca.  The island of blue skies and blue waters reflecting within the sandy beaches.

I love Majorca.  Had to believe it has taken me so long to find this place in my life.

Here for two weeks to relax, read, educate myself and get things moving along in my health, Scott and I have headed to the mountains.  Fully intending to take care of myself (the little things like a proper skincare routine),  I'm going to take time out of life to show myself some love.

Here's a couple of photos, I feel I need to write more but my early morning sees me super tired today.

Waiting for a bus!

In the airport lounge

On the plane!

Look at the coastline of Majorca

I never tire of this view.

Tired but happy with the balcony.
