Being a spoonie

Late summer sun cast long shadows over the greenest of grass.

Today was going to be a good day, I had promised myself this. After recent events taking me into distraction, Harley would be my most faithful companion as we headed off into nature for some grounding.

Sadly, it was not to be so chilled as I was hoping as fellow dog walkers decided not to follow the rules and keep their dogs on a lead. Nothing was an issue really. But my anxieties took me to a place of worry and knowing I would need to rise early and get out
before too many people came into our space.

Today is better.

Piano chill music selected on my phone, playing through my ears like melted butter...writing...my furry friend at my feet.  Today was going to be a good day.
A good day with curly hair.

Why not.

Camp NaNoWriMo starts tomorrow - this is how I'm feeling

The last day of June means July 1st Tomorrow and the start of Camp NaNoWriMo! I'm excited to give myself a target to reach and also a little nervous as I do have some trips booked and an entire host of video editing to do for my Youtube channel before that.  I promised myself this would be done before I was shooting off to the airport.  So what is stopping me from being on top of my game?  Shall I tell you?  This is quite a vunerable thing to share...

Since finishing university my body has been over run with different infections and the fatigue has been so consuming that to plan a journey past a half hour drive has at times felt impossible. These grumbles also seem to go hand in hand with terrible mental health issues for me which is something I would gladly wave a magic wand at and get over it.  If you have even remotely suffered depression or anxiety you will understand this feeling. You can't control it no matter how you try.  For me, I have learnt through my science degree that 90% of the serotonin we make comes from the gut and with my issues of inflammatory bowel disease I am pretty sure my gut could be in better shape than currently.  Sure I'm taking my probiotics and they definitely do help.  So I'm giving in and sleeping lots and I suspect right now it would be a good time to try as best I can to surround myself with those people I love and trust to be sweet and lovely to me. Petting my furry baby Harley always helps and you know how they just love you so unconditionally in a way we all know humans could learn from.
Trying to eat as little as possible to give my digestive system a break is something that's recommended when you have crohns. So I'm trying that.  But when you are a true 'foodie' it's hard.  Another reason to feel blue.  Sugar is the enemy when you have gut issues and bacteria love to thrive on the white stuff so I'm trying to cut that out as best I can...sigh....anyhow I have really digressed there.

Sometimes these issues with the brain definitely help to keep me on track.  Let me try and explain. You see I have started to converse over on twitter with many writer types and often you will find people who love to write may sometimes love being on their own typing away with their own words.  Sometimes with a mind rather like mine.  Anxious or over thinkers. Some days 'we' have no choice but to be at home with our words.  Yet I can't tell you how long I have given myself a hard time for trying to live the dream.  Strange really that my playlist has just played 'A million Dreams' from The Greatest Showman!

A dilemma i have is this: I've been offered a wonderful (but likely very stressful) research project.  There is money attached and a wonderful chance to make a difference in the world of diabetes.  I'm tempted and it will be a great challenge.  Yet am I up to it?  Can I do it without crumbling?  You see I sense being stuck between a rock and hard place is something that I must recognise where I am.  While loving the life of trying to get back to more writing/editing and working on my health at the gym, including walking the dog and all these other things that see me smiling it doesn't feel like work.

Which leaves me doubting the acceptability of doing it as a job....which is exactly what I teach others they must do....to follow those dreams.

NaNoWriMo will see me committing to 30,000 words which is 1000 a day and I'm going to start working back on the book I have left alone for about 4 years now. It's called Happiness in vitro and I'm super excited to get this one published but I want to get that first draught under my belt and work super hard on perfecting it.  By the end of July we hope I have achieved what I need to achieve in my writing.  I do love it.  I promise I will aim to keep posting on this blog too as I simply love blogging. I have more blogs than is normal for a person!  Without sounding too crazy, I simply feel like 'me' when I'm writing.

Something I can't deny.

Ups and downs of knowing the law of attraction

Today sees me with strange moods.

I can only guess that it was after yesterdays blog post talking about me stepping into my reality, (then today getting disturbed by mother). I was in the log cabin getting lots of work done and her disturbing me (she has dementia) made me realise this isn't going to be easy.

The journey I have been on for so many years now has finally brought me to the place of saying "YES! I am a writer!" And I guess rather like waiting for an elusive book deal, then realising you are finally there - and I guess like after your wedding day - you realise everything is still the same, with life ups and downs.

Learning about the law of attraction has been a tricky time and an entire blog post needs to follow with lots of details on this. It's not the answer to finding the cup of gold at the end of the rainbow but rather takes lots of learning to get your head around.  Stopping the feelings of guilt when you aren't 'thinking right' is a big old journey in itself.

So, just for today I will sit in Starbucks with my faithful friend and do a little writing.

Being comfortable in your own skin

Sitting in Starbucks, drinking my almond latte with a dash of vanilla, dog at my feet.  I love that about Starbucks.  Harley gets his mini dish of water (I bring the dish, they supply the water) and I write.

Knowing writing is my absolute passion, I feel comfortable with myself now. A knowing is a powerful thing. Yet how can this journey have taken so long to get here?

Sitting close by me are some wonderfully turned-out beautiful women.
Older than me.
Looking good though.
One of them, I totally know, is  a complete bitch. Never will I forget the time I had parked outside the school with my twins in the back in their new school uniforms.  It was literally breaking my heart to take them to school every day. Not only had I had a terrible time at school and hated it but now I simply didn't like the pressure they gave to these tiny human beings.
They were so small and lovely.
4 years old.
So, back to the day. We had been rushing, I had ensured a healthy breakfast, packed lunches at the ready, 'ponytail plaits' for Jasmine as she called them and making sure Nathan had a coat with a hood on it as all the other children had a coat with a hood and he was upset that he didn't. So you imagine the scene.  And yes, I'm a single mother with a very large and hairy German Shepherd dog and need to hoover constantly - (those small details). We arrived and YES! there was a parking space.  Yet one of these women who now sit across Starbucks from me gave me the most dirty look, shook her head as if to say no and tutted in a 'tut tut tut tut tut tut tut' fashion.
Much yelling followed telling me I can't park here and knowing I had to move the car also meant my twins might be late for school which they never were. Now I overhear her (talking like a bitch still) sitting in Starbucks with the ironed shirt and collar up, looking like her hair was styled by the same stylist who tends to Samantha from Sex in the City.  Here I sit with my hay fever eyes (no make up, puffy and watering), a big bite -of some description- on my neck (not passion related) and curly hair literally scooped up in a ponytail.  Once upon a time I would have sat here literally wincing. Completely worrying about what I looked like.

Not now.

I hear her, "Well, look I'm not being funny but...." and that look down her nose and lots of cackling in with the conversation.
Yet here I am with my son joining me for morning coffee, my dog happy at my feet and doing a 'job' i totally love, safe in the knowledge that I truly have found the person who I want to be and I'm comfortable with that.  There's nothing quite like going on a journey and ending up in a destination which is actually more than ok.

Today, I pat myself on the back.  That day, she made me crumble and I was in a mess for the rest of the day.  Most likely wobbly for the entire week.  I'm not sure now. I forget.  But her and her 'parking attendant' critical self can carry on tutting for all she likes.  I'd far rather be the hippy, loving mum that I was then and am now.

Sitting here not caring if she notices me and thinks, "Look at the state of that." Is a massive step forward for me.  What has changed?  I'm not totally sure I can put that into words  here on this page.  Saying that, it's almost like I now don't need people's validation. I know I have a place on this earth and good things to offer.  My gifts are here to help others, without judgement.  Learning from people like our Samantha wannabe exactly how 'not to' be with other people has brought me to an open place of non judgemental caring.  Thank goodness for those people who have brought me here before it's too late to make a difference.
Time now to help those who need me.  They are, strangely, coming in thick and fast right now. People reaching out to ask for help, needing to see me and talk about things, to be on Skype, to email me.  Even a little messenger message.  I want to make a difference for those who need it. In whatever tiny way I can.  Being able to draw upon my own stories is really a wonderful gift in a manifestation type of way.

More than a woman

Many beautiful and brave friends bless my life.  When one of those friends asked,
"Do you fancy an evening with a Bee Gees tribute?" I was honored but hesitant.
"Can I have a think about it and let you know?" Was my concerned reply.

The morning sun tried its best to pour either side of my poorly fitting blackout blinds and I snuggled, spoon fashion with my shih tzu.  He smelt good, in a doggy kind of way.  Just the right amount of musty.  Snoring loudly, he felt my hug grow tighter and moved away.  Gosh, I loved this little hairy fella.  Me and his 'Dad' were hoping for babies.  It wasn't meant to be.  After heartache, we chose this fur baby and never looked back.  Still we love him more than words.  We just do it separately now.  Organising 'sleep overs' at Dads house is fun for both of them.  Since we divorced, things remained friendly.  Yet the Bee Gees was his band.  Well, him and Aunt June.  Many conversations were shared between them with a bond firmly set talking about the Brothers Gibb.

Could I see the band with the knowledge that it might hurt a little bit? Maybe more than a bit.  "How deep is your love" was played at the oh-so-grand wedding of ours all those years ago.  Many tears were shed that day.  A day full of promise and fairytales.  Just sometimes, life takes a different course than the one you imagined.  Yet could I see the band?
"You're not the only single person there, don't worry." My wonderful friend reassured me.  Which was never a worry for me.  Many occasions have seen me arrive solo, determined not to let life dictate such limited life choices.  It more was a case of would I cry at the songs? Could I see the band?

Live music moves me.  Recorded music moves me. Just pure voices move me.
Goosebumps.

I decided to see the band.  Almost at the point of finding the perfect excuse of Mum not being well,  I put things into place, fixed the lipstick and drove.  Off to see the band.
Walking toward the theatre in the centre of the high street, I passed some people settling into doorways for the night.  Counting my blessings, I remembered gratitude.  Although these people I saw seemed happy enough, no issues seemed to phase them.  Certainly not a certain song attached to a certain memory.

Doubting I would ever love again, I strutted as if it were the 1970s and I was more than a woman.  The heels, the hair flicks and swoosh, I could do this. I got this.  Where does that strength come from?  Who knows?  I don't know.  Yet it seems to.

We took to our bouncy blue velvet seats and smelled the dry ice. Watching it begin to filter the lights.  Illuminating the stage were reflections from the high hats on the drummers kit.  Oh, live music.  Wonderful.  Soon into the evening, sharing laughter with my big group of friends, the band members took to the stage.  Seeming unlikely we would see a warm up act, confirmation arrived in the shape of three men dressed in black leather (tight) trousers, sunglasses and half undone shirts revealing fairly toned chests.  These guys were the more recent Bee Gees lookalikes rather than the early Bee Gees.

Grinning and nodding towards the audience in a kind of 'hello', some music starting with the "5,6,7,8" accompanied by the wooden tap of two drumsticks together high in the air saw these three men begin to lift their microphones.  Crowd pleasers at every opportunity, the audience started toe tapping.  They were good.  I became entranced.  At the end of the first song, the lights darkened into black and a single spotlight lit up a very British young man dressed in a high turtleneck and a smart, modern suit.  His mic was attached to the side of his cheek and he smiled widely.  Beginning to narrate the story of the Bee Gees.  Most of it was well known, some less so. Although likely Aunt June and my friendly ex would know such tales.  I smiled as I listened to a story of wonder through the years, of ups and downs, of dreams come true and some shattered.  The heartbreak of family ties floating to heaven.  Feeling a heavy chest, I was concerned for 'How deep is your love'.  Needing not to worry, not a tear was seen.  Despite acting more than a woman, I did sense my face change in surprise as "How can you mend a broken heart" was breathed through the microphone.

Reminding myself that all is well wasn't difficult on this night.  Surrounded by friends, I was thankful for this special time.  Gratitude filled my heart for memories of times gone by.  I got this.

Depressed on holiday?

Ok, so I forgot to take my tablets for 4 days.

I'm not that person though.  Not that person who needs that tablet?  Without which negative thoughts creep in making me feel blue, sad, inadequate and all?  No surely not.

Maybe (almost definitely) it was the fact I have lots of university work to do.  Like, loads.  And in respect to that work I have certainly lost my muse.  What's the point?  You submit work, you've worked hard on it and they give ALL of us terrible marks.  The feedback is written by a child it seems and the entire thing has me blue.

A looming exam Wednesday. I need to revise.  Should I wing it? I'm honestly feeling that I'm at the end of the line regarding this work.  To the point of feeling excited when I talk about quitting.

12 weeks to go.  IT would be daft right?

Yet I'm not enjoying this holiday like I thought I might purely for the fact of doing all this work.

No editing of films has gone on while I'm here and that's usually my late night love.

For today, I will put down the books and do something I love, write.  I will edit a film later maybe.  Definitely walk along the beach (if mum is well enough to be left as the took a downturn yesterday).

Such a shame to feel this black cloud approaching when surrounded by beautiful beaches and the amazing blue sea.

Just goes to show, sometimes the bigger picture of what is going on in your life is the exact thing that is bringing you down rather than the surrounding environment.  Does any of this blog post make sense?  I'm not even sure.  Yet If I share a few photos with you now I will feel proud of them.  Showing Jasmine the world and laughing together is a definite way I would love to spend my life.

12 weeks...

Directly outside the hotel is this prom. Great for walkers.

Love locks are everywhere.

Never ceases to take my breath away

Watching the sun come up from my balcony.  Sigma lens zooms for this shot.

Why your anxiety is not your fault.

Let's clear this up.

If you have anxiety or depression it's likely you will know what I'm talking about here.

Black cloud days.

Those days when one minute you are buzzing and determined, then along comes the black cloud, in whatever form, and BAM! you are out of whack for several days.

What triggered that mood, thought, feeling?
Often it was someone and their harsh word.
Their misunderstanding of you.
Their less than kind heart.

You would NEVER act like that to someone right?  Never would you be rude or unkind or simply seem uncaring.  The reason you wouldn't is because you know too well that there may be another story behind that smile.

Imagine the scenario.  Just recently, you have been up against it, wondering how you might manage to get life back on an even keel.  Then you wake up thinking, "I'm going to give it my very best shot."
You dress nicely, you make every determined effort to be like the old you.  The one before all this.  Skipping through your day nicely feeling confident and smiley.  People all around you warming to your mood.

Then comes the unkind person.  The sharp tongue.  The less than helpful answer.

Your day crumbles as you run with tears soaking your cheeks.  Where you are going you just don't know.  You phone your 'go to' person to keep yourself safe.  Patting yourself on the back momentarily from stopping this black cloud taking you one step too far.

Writing off the rest of the day, perhaps even the next couple of weeks,  you and your headache wonder how someone could be so nasty, so unhelpful, so unkind.  You would never be like that.

This is NOT your fault.

As the black cloud lifts over the next days and weeks and even just a break in that cloud suggesting a glimmer of sunlight you must remember, this is not your fault.  Likely there is a simplistic reasoning for this.  Likely you caught the unkind tongue at a bad moment.

Never would I excuse such behaviour but they are human too.
You feel how you feel.  That is human too.  It is not your fault.
They should be kind, yes.  We all should be kinder, bigger hearted, creating the wonderful world we dream of in our depressed, anxious state of mind.

Still you can ask yourself why,  so long as you remember, this is not your fault.  You did not deserve such behaviour and it is NOT your fault.

Two very different black clouds

Today, I felt two very different types of black cloud approaching.

It's no secret that here in the UK we had a very adverse weather forecast.

Rather like my mood.  I Started out feeling great, buzzing for my Human Nutrition year 2 degree exam.  Guessing that every 'up' also brings a 'down',  I got home and took to my bed.

Crohns disease has reared its uninvited head the past two days.  This has left me exhausted,  running on my ever-pressured adrenal glands (bless those little walnuts).

Waking, I felt strange; rested.

Harley and I had snuggled in tightly and got warm.  Him wearing his hoody with the words 'cute' written on it! Yes, I know, I should have waited to give him a hair cut.
Feeling my unwelcome guest, anxiety approaching, I could feel myself wanting to distance myself from my nearest and dearest, everyone and the world.  Just about everyone.

Sitting with a calculator and pen, I did the usual calculations.  Aiming to out-wit the anxiety with my mathematical calculations, I managed to inspire myself enough to realise that with a couple of years of consistent blogging and creating youtube videos I can actually live the dream I have in working full time from home.
No way?  Yes!

Thus relieving the pressure to get up each day healthier than the previous day.  Much as I love to believe I have this illness under control, there are those days when it somehow is smarter than me.

Feeling in-spirit (inspired) I took to the keyboard and lit the candle. With only my tinitus, ticking clock, snoring dog and fired up boiler for sounds, I begin to write.  My passion, my love.

I want to write, write, WRITE.

This black cloud approaches,  this brings the beauty of snowflakes.

Without a sound, we see them falling,  covering the roads and pathways in an instant.  Such beauty.  As the social media channels begin to fill with children out playing late into bedtime and snowmen being built around these towns, I began to dream of a snow day tomorrow.

Would we get a snow day?

Don't get me wrong, I have two amazing clients booked to see in the morning, right before my gastroenterology appointment at the hospital, yet I have fire in my belly to write write WRITE.

Are you with me on this journey?

As always, much love

Louise xoxo

I joined slimming world!

Yes you heard it right.  This nutritionist joined slimming world.

Why?  Well, I've let things slip.  Stopped paying attention, we all do that from time to time.  My bikinis don't fit the way I would like them to.
There's nothing quite like being held accountable and getting a reward when you hit a certain goal.  Even a little sticker to say well done!  Crazy and childish?  Yes, but it works!

Listening to the other members in the group will help me to help my own clients with their struggles too.

Today, I feel a new me is born.  I'm determined to get off 22lbs by the time I go on holiday next in July. I know I can do that! It's 2 lb a week.  Do-able.  I know HOW to do it.  I am super sure I can keep a focus and even with my scientifically-proven slow metabolism, I will do this!

My own weight loss group online has a competition running if this is something you feel you might like to look into.  10 free places for you and a friend to join for a whole month.  Motivation, tips, tricks and meeting other like minded people! See this link here to enter and for more details.  You can also tag me on twitter  if you aren't a Facebook person!

So, it's the start of a whole new me.  Are you with me?

I was advised not to goto the gym.  I haven't been in so long but this makes my aches worse and also affects my mental health.  So I have decided to start very gently, taking my twins along with me to get over the anxiety I feel.  Brilliant!
Plus, joining another weight loss group.  Plus, I will be doing another Aloe cleanse from tomorrow.  See my details of that here.  I hope to get a really good kick start to my weight loss on my clean 9.  Last time I lost 10 lbs.  In 9 days.  Awesome.

I'm going to work hard at uni, work hard on my anxieties, drink less coffee...all those things we promise ourself and seldom do.

My motivation?  To look like this again in time for the beach!....

With much love from the new me....Louise xoxo

What my holiday did for my depression

Skirting around this issue for a while, dropping you guys hints but not really going into great depth, I feel at a place where I can share with you my ongoing battle.

Anxiety and depression.

These are almost like new buzz words that somehow seem trendy.

Feelings like these go against all I believe in and all that I stand for,  yet it seems this is not a choice I have made.  It simply is.

My diagnosis came over a year ago now and I'm in bi-weekly therapy and hate to admit there is medication involved. I will speak more about that in another post yet for now, I am blogging here today as things are feeling better.  I want to share with you what helped for me.

Returning late last night from Alcudia in Majorca, Spain from a 3 night break with my mum helped.  I know not everyone can have the freedom of getting away from it all like I did and I am truly thankful.  Mum treated us both as we have found it difficult to get time to grieve after Dad passed away a few weeks ago (it's his 75th birthday today, so happy birthday Dad up there on your cloud).

One of my sessions of therapy is with a mentor, someone who helps with practical stuff, how to cope with my university work load and that type of skill.  She also introduced me to mindfulness

It is a practice where you bring your attention to the here and now.  Lots of meditation.  But mostly realising that worry is when you think about past or present.  Worry has caused my anxiety.  I'm a worrier.  Yet I am also a law of attraction person.  So how can the two go hand in hand?  Can we actually control our thoughts to make us deal with life things better?  Taking lots of practice, I am beginning to see some clarity.

For me, the sea, sand and sunny days are therapy in themselves.  I spent so much time walking up and down the sand that I could barely walk.  While the souls of my feet were in so much pain, my inner soul was nurtured.

I'm super positive right now and I honestly want to write it all down so I don't forget!

I know what I want, I know how i'm going to get it.  Watch me!

For so so long now I have known I want to earn my living with freedom.  Freedom to travel, to be, to take time to walk the dog when I need to.  While my job as a nutritionist will see me helping patients, I will primarily doing my work from my laptop.  Writing all my findings and publishing them for free for the world to use to create better health.  Gaining sponsorship from affiliate companies who I believe in.  Helping to spread the word of fabulous products.

All while saving to travel, taking my laptop with me and working like there's no tomorrow.

You see, I want to make a difference, my fingers are flying across the keyboard with passion and positivity right now! Yes, It will be hard work.  Yes, I need guidance and mentors.  Yes, it will take me time and money to invest in my new website.  Yet, I am determined to do it.

I wake with a smile on my face.  Feeling the world is a brighter and better place.  For so long now, my physical health has suffered.  I know the two go hand in hand.  I need time to work on my body, working on my damaged spine with pilates and not making excuses not to go.

Depression is exhausting.  Feeling like you can breathe and fill your lungs with life giving oxygen is a totally new feeling.  I love it.  I'm in love with life right now and can see all that it can bring me.  I can and will do this.  Are you with me?  Will you support me?  I can't do any of this without my lovely audience.  You guys.  I know this will be super.

A new journey into a new me.  I'm working harder and loving it.  I'm eating better, losing a few extra pounds, I'm working on the spinal injuries and my crohns.  I want to do this.  In a few weeks, if I begin to see me slipping back into the old routines, I will revisit this post and realise how wonderful life can be.

Only I can make this happen.  No amount of disrespect from others will stop me.  They don't matter.  I've been letting them in for far too long.

We all have amazing gifts to bring to this world.

I urge you to read mindfulness.  It has helped beyond belief.

Much love

Louise xoxo

Tragedy has brought me clarity

Hi Everyone

Are you well? Happy?  Living on purpose?

I'm going to share something deep from within today.  Doubtless you saw my last post about losing my lovely Dad.  Such a tragic and unnecessary loss.  Already missing him so much,  I cannot tell you the times I have started a thought about texting him and realised I can't do that anymore.

Losing someone close can be so cold and harsh.  For instance, letting the local council know that Mum is now living as the only person in the house.  When they write stating facts like "You do not have a partner" just two days after her husband of 54 years has passed away is so cruel.

Having to post Dads driving licence back to DVLA is just like we are trying to erase his life.

Something they can never do is take away our memories.  Our photographs and videos.  So many wonderful times shared.

How could I possibly let my mum focus on anything other than her grief.  So, instead, I'm taking care of the ugly bits.

As my Dad sits looking back at me at my desk from a photograph we had taken at Christmas at my Graduation, I can feel an overwhelming sense to share something from within here on this blog.

You see,  you might be asking, "What about all the positivity?  What about the Law of Attraction?"
I would be inclined to agree with you. Isn't that what the blog started out to be?

If nothing else,  losing my lovely Dad has made my soul sit up and listen.
I didn't even reach within to get there,  it's forced my hand.  Feeling not quite myself within life is something I have experienced for a long long time yet I have previously decided it's not going to ruin my life, or stop me from doing what I want to do.

The trouble is,  we so often listen to the way we have been programmed.  Recently, Mums well meaning friend told me how I couldn't make my living from home, from my laptop with my nutritional advice.  Well, these days you can.  It's my dream and my safe haven.  With hard work, dedication and belief I can do this.  Finally I feel like I am ready to take that leap of faith.  It's not even like it would be an injustice not to do it but rather if I don't I am going to feel it in my health.

Have you ever had a deep rooted belief like this?  Likely you know what I mean if you have.

Something for so long has been telling you that you mustn't do it/it isn't real life/that lifestyle isn't for people like us etc?  With health issues getting worse and worse I am realising that my future might well be from home, on my laptop, working that way.  If I don't, I honestly feel my health will decline.

Yes, I do feel this is fulfilling my spirit but I also feel that there are those practical reasons too.   As a Crohns patient, I need to eat carefully,  not on the run.  I also need to take time to try and exercise as these aches and pains scream at me more and more.

This blog isn't a rant.  Nor is it a feel sorry for myself post.  Rather it's like, dealing with losing Dad has brought my health issues to a head and without listening to what I really must do, I feel life wouldn't be so worth living.

One last thing as I try to explain my point to you.  I feel deep within that I would be really happy with the lifestyle that I have been calling my dream.  IT's the time that I feel 'full up' with JOY and PASSION and purpose to life.  Don't we owe it to our loved ones to be that person?

What can you do today to realise your dream?

My next blog post I will share my plans for travel in 2016,  my need for a NutriBullet and those Abel and Cole guys.

Sending love, as always,  from a heartbroken yet driven,

Louise xoxo

Christmas week - watch this video of what I've been doing!

How are your Christmas plans and preparations going?

Are you excited?

We are so excited in this house. Christmas eve I am going to have a major cooking session in the kitchen.  I do love to cook.  However,  these days life dictates that we just simply 'throw something in the oven.'  I shall be making a gluten free, vegetarian lasagne with homemade potato salad and coleslaw.  YUM.
My nutrition channel is starting to really take off over on youtube.  I've gained more followers this week than ever before so the only way is up!

I feel 2016 will see a wonderful year for me of making dreams come true and getting life really going in the direction I want to go.  This year hasn't been bad at all but it has been  period of healing for me and massively doing some inner work.  See this post about anxiety here.

With more and more blog sponsorships coming through, I am beginning to realise the dream that my passion can actually become my job too.  Awesome!

This week just gone I have Vlogged my activities and ramblings.  We have seen some amazing things. It is my dream to clock up 500 subscribers on my VLog channel so please please come over and subscribe.  keep up with all my news this way!

Of course I hope to pop back in before the big day but time goes crazy doesn't it! If I don't send you good wishes nearer the day please accept my virtual love through the screen and have the most wonderful Christmas.

Love as always

Louise xoxo
